Vincy’s career spans the U.S. Department of the Treasury, the White House, and the U.S. Congress, as well as several high-profile national campaigns—work that has taken her around the world producing events with government, corporate, and global industry leaders. She applies her experience managing complex logistics, high-level stakeholder engagement, and cross-sector partnerships to elevate Widehall’s event experiences.
Before joining Widehall, Melodie was part of the Member Relations team at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, where she played a key role in enhancing member engagement and was nominated for the Shared Purpose Award twice. Her prior experience includes serving on the partnerships team at The Atlantic, where she contributed to the launch of significant events like the Economy Summit, the Education Summit, CityLab, and the Pursuit of Happiness, along with establishing a media partnership at the Sundance Film Festival. Melodie’s diverse background also encompasses corporate government relations, organizational development, and leadership roles at an independent school in Washington, D.C.
Her career spans media, crisis communications, and government affairs, with years of experience advising Fortune 500 companies, non-profits, think tanks, and trade associations. Before joining Widehall, Elise worked at The Hill, Bloomberg, and PublicRelay.
Previously, Sami worked in operations at The Hill, where she provided administrative support to the business, assisted with coordinating newsroom media relations, and supported DC-based circulation and events planning. Formerly, she was a Strategic Communications Intern at Vision360 Partners where she conducted research on public policy topics and produced organic social media content on behalf of clients. Sami earned her BA in Communication with a concentration in Journalism from George Mason University in 2022.
Previously with GovExec and a boutique DC public relations firm, Cyan has developed a passion for dynamic events and creating engaging narratives that resonate with people. She’s worked behind the scenes at music festivals and in the A/V room on studio sets, supporting musicians and Congressional officials alike. Her professional career has been built upon a foundation of creating fresh and exciting experiences for both clients and audiences.
Previously at Foreign Policy, she led audience development and event marketing for global convenings including the United Nations General Assembly, NATO Summit, and Munich Security Conference. From launching startup campaigns to scaling world-stage events, she brings a sharp strategic lens and storytelling instinct to every project.
At Widehall, Sara uses a creative and data-driven approach to develop meaningful connections with key and influential stakeholders. She crafts campaigns and experiences that drive engagement, build credibility, and elevate visibility for high-stakes initiatives.
At Widehall, she builds connections through strategic storytelling and engagement, fostering strong relationships and community ties. Prior to joining Widehall, she honed her skills at SKDK, collaborating with individuals and corporations across the country.
Taylor’s career spans government, non-profit, and media sectors, with roles at Axios, The United Nations Foundation, the White House, and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, where he served as a Presidential Appointee. He has produced programs featuring top decision-makers, from U.S. administration officials and members of Congress to global leaders and industry executives.
As a member of the Widehall team, Taylor plays a pivotal role in designing and delivering impactful in-person and virtual events that foster dialogue, spark collaboration, and create lasting value. His passion for innovation and precision continues to shape transformative event experiences.
Charlie’s experience as a trusted advisor to Fortune 500 companies, think tanks, trade associations, and non-profits stems from his extensive background in media, communications and government affairs. He joins Widehall from State Affairs. Prior to State Affairs, Charlie worked for The Hill, Bloomberg Government and Atlantic Media.
Most recently at The Hill, Kara booked and produced editorial events, hosting high-ranking government officials, CEOs, and advocacy icons, and shaping the discussion on a range of issues from health care to environmental policy. Her expertise in events content allows her to hone in on powerful storylines and help build consensus around complex policy, all while putting diversity first in every program.
